MOTTISFONT
Film installation and residency.
Forever For Everyone is the motto of the National Trust and is the name I gave to the installation of 16 films at Mottisfont following a 3 month residency. This short compilation film gives an idea of the films and how they were installed.
The films installed throughout the house invited the visitor to see Mottisfont from a different point of view: through the creative hands of those who care for it. Filmed by the staff and volunteers via a GoPro camera strapped to their bodies, they reveal the story of Mottisfont as they work to maintain both the house and contents.
Funded by Arts Council England, A Place for Art was a two year project, which enabled Mottisfont to host six artist residencies.
Mottisfont, in Hampshire is one of the National Trust’s most visited properties.
